Description
The Industry Training Academy is designed to increase students' skills and knowledge to be successful in a manufacturing career.
Topics Trained will include: Critical Core Manufacturing Skills, Industrial Math, Blueprint Reading, Lean Manufacturing, Fab Lab, Geometric Dimension and Tolerance, Introduction to Advance Manufacturing, and Teamwork and Work Readiness Skills.
Upon completing the academy, students have access to one-on-one assistance with net working, job/skills matching and job search for their new careers, as well as on the job training program and assistance with entry to post secondary education programs.
