Description
Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, an international men's march to stop rape, sexual assault, and gender violence. Students are encouraged to form teams and collect donations. All proceeds benefit SART of River Falls and SARA of Red Wing, Minn. Sponsored by the UWRF Student Social Work Association. For more information, email uwrfsswa@gmail.com.
Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is a string of National events to support advocacy efforts in the community against sexual assault.
Highlights:
Men walk one mile in high heeled shoes. (Always fun to watch!)
Teams raise money to support SART of River Falls and SARA of Red Wing. Both of these organizations do advocacy and crisis response work around sexual assault.
